Details

Day 1. Chandigarh--Kotgarh (via Shimla)
Reach Shimla by overnight Volvo in the morning. After breakfast we will head towards Kotgarh in a shared cab. The drive will take you through dense forests, apple and cherry orchards. The town of Narkanda falls on the way. Reach zostel by afternoon. Check into your room, rest a while and get fresh. In the evening we can go for a short walk. There will be bonfire followed by dinner.

Day 2. Hatu Top 3400 metres.
Get up to a wonderful morning in the home stay, which is located amidst an orchard of cherry and apples, with a straight view of the snow clad Baspa ranges. After breakfast, we drive towards the base of Hatu. Those who want to trek up the mountain can do that too. As we will be sending the vehicle on top to get us back, those who don’t want to walk can drive up. It’s a choice as it’s a 3 hours walk to the top and the trail goes tough dense forests of Oak and Deodar. Once on the top we can enjoy the majestic views and click some photographs of the mountain views. We can walk to Jaubagh and spent some leisurely time there. In the evening we will be back to the home stay.

Day 3. Kotgarh to Thanedar.
Kotgarh mornings are wonderful. The sun rises early and the view of the snow clad mountains are amazing in the early sun. Today we will take a walk though a hundred years old heritage. The trial will take us through villages, apple orchards and dense forests. We will also visit the Kotgarh church and Gorton school. We also visit apple farms and interact with the locals. In the evening we return to the home stay.

Day 4.
Return to Shimla after breakfast and departure for Chandigarh from there.

COST INCLUDES:
- Stay at Zostel, Kotgarh
- Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner) on all days.
- Transportation from Chandigarh to Chandigarh and during the stay in Kotgarh

COST EXCLUDES:
- Expenses of personal nature such as phone calls, outside eatables, drinks (Mineral Water, Aerated /Alcohol Drinks), laundry, tips, etc.
- Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
- Any change in the itinerary, stay on account of flight/ train cancellation due to bad weather, ill
health and road block etc... Factors which are beyond our control.
- Any other expense not mentioned in the 'cost includes' column.

 This trip is not a regular excursion / exercise with family and friends. It unlocks the wonderful
world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip to be nature’s special guest.
 Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking
care of your personal belongings.
 Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health
conditions and the overall physical terrain.
DISCLOSURES ON MEDICAL CONDITION
 It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer
from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition / history to the organizers of
the trip so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
 As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip.
In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken
to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne
by the patrons themselves.
